Office of Student Affairs and Wellbeing
From Orientation to Graduation, the Office of Student Affairs and Wellbeing (SAW) is available to assist you in your journey through medical school. We support the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine’s mission by fostering students’ academic, professional and personal growth in a safe and caring environment.
The Office promotes student engagement and participation in the social, cultural and intellectual life at the HMSOM, and is the principal advisor to student groups, specialty interest groups, clubs and organizations.
We provide a supportive learning environment through our extensive academic advising, professional development and wellness programs, academic support, accessibility services and celebrations of major milestones in your medical school careers. Our goal is to support your experience and growth as you transition from medical training to a career in medicine.
