Submit a Proposal
This is a great opportunity to showcase your curricular research and/or innovation projects and meet and collaborate with others. This is also a great opportunity to receive feedback on your projects. You may submit as many posters as you would like prior to the deadline. Abstracts may be considered for an oral presentation. Please indicate in the form if you would like your abstract submission to be considered for an oral presentation. *Awards will be given for the best abstracts in different categories (faculty, trainee, etc).*
Abstracts may be submitted for Research and/or Innovation and should be no more than 500 words.
Research abstracts should include the following categories:
- Introduction
- Method
- Results
- Conclusion
Innovation abstracts should include the following categories:
- Background/Theory and importance in medical education
- Design
- Evaluation Plan
- Feasibility
- Intended Outcomes
- Transferability
Feasibility/Transferability Workshops:
We are accepting proposals for 60-minute workshops that will be held on Thursday, April 20th. Workshops will focus on topics in medical education including teaching, curriculum development, assessment, and more.
Examples may include:
- Effective clinical teaching
- How to do community engaged medical education in GME
- Developing a research presence in medical education
Workshop proposals are to be no more than 500 words and should include the following categories:
- Facilitator(s)
- Background
- Learning objectives
- Method for Teaching
- Breakdown of Timing in Workshop
