The SOM engages with multiple communities throughout the state with an initial focus on the communities surrounding the SOM campus, Hackensack University Medical Center Campus, and Jersey Shore University Medical Center campus. In addition to general community engagement in these areas, the SOM has also developed partnerships with the following organizations throughout the state. Many of these partnerships have supported our students’ Human Dimension community immersion experiences including the Human Dimension Voices Program (HDVP) and the Community Health Project (CHP), which includes service learning.
