Faculty Development
The Faculty Development team Office of Faculty at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine is led by Michael Giuliano, MD, M.Ed., MHPE, MA, Assistant Dean of Faculty, Resident & Student Development, along with faculty development trainers Joseph Martinelli, MA and George Noll, EdD, MS. Our goal is to provide development services to our faculty, residents, and students across the network, who then in turn can help us in achieving the mission of delivering the highest quality care for all.
Areas of focus include:
- General faculty development (team-based learning, active learning)
- Development for inpatient and outpatient teaching
- Resident/Student as teacher programs
- Development/coordination of faculty mentoring programs within HMH
To serve each of the above areas, our team has developed a variety of unique programs offered throughout the year, typically available both in-person and online, and these will also be available on our website. To learn more about each of these programs, see a brief overview below, or go to our detailed program pages in the menu located on the right.
A great place to start is reviewing the content in our General Faculty Development Resources page and the recording from our 2022 Open House below. For information on specific Faculty Development Programs, please see our menu on the right.
