Michael Eric Rosenberg, M.D.
Chair, Department of Ophthalmology
Dr. Rosenberg graduated with a BA in Psychology from Princeton University and received his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. He served his Internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and his residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Rosenberg then spent a year as a Corneal and Refractive Fellow under Dr. Theodore Perl.
He has been involved in teaching since being selected as an Anatomy Fellow in medical school. Dr. Rosenberg previously taught ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary to residents and currently supervises ophthalmology rotations for medical residents from HUMC and Englewood Hospital. He has been Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at HUMC since 2007 and served on numerous committees at the medical center. He is a past President of the Bergen County Medical Society. Dr. Rosenberg previously served on the Board of Health of Englewood Cliffs.
Dr. Rosenberg has published numerous articles as well as presented Grand Rounds in ophthalmology at various medical centers. His private ophthalmology practice is located in Fort Lee, NJ.
