Howard Ross Howard Ross, M.D., holds the M. Martin Ross Distinguished Chair in Surgery at the Hackensack University Medical Center where he is also Surgeon-in-Chief. Howard is a passionate educator and a nationally recognized colon and rectal surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. Howard specializes in minimally invasive surgical approaches to treating colon and rectal cancer and provides leading-edge surgical care for ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis and other complex colorectal and anorectal conditions.
Dr. Ross’ research interests include the adoption of new technologies, surgical innovation, surgical education and addressing health disparities. Dr. Ross is broadly published, and is the editor of four noted textbooks, including “Robotic Approaches to Colorectal Surgery” and “Minimally Invasive Approaches to Colon and Rectal Disease.”
